Though it's a great rarity that I post anything from the NY Post (I'm a born and bred New Yorker and I've always had a distaste for the Post, even before they were sucked up into the Dark Hole that is News Corp.), I saw this and couldn't resist. It's too much.

May 20, 2004 -- ATHENS - Yasser Arafat says he'll protect the Olympics from terrorism.

The Palestinian chief - whose thugs were responsible for the worst atrocity in Olympic history - has ordered all factions under his control to prevent "isolated" attacks on the Athens Games, the newly arrived head of his Athens diplomatic mission said yesterday.

"We are concerned about the success of the Athens Olympics," Marwan Abdelhamid, head of the Palestinian Diplomatic Mission to Greece, told reporters at a news conference.

"All Palestinian factions have been instructed to protect, cooperate and prevent any isolated attack."

Arafat himself had ordered them to work with Greek Games organizers to "ensure the success of the Games," he said.

During the 1972 Munich Games, Palestinian terrorists murdered 11 Israeli athletes inside the Olympic Village.
