Kanye West just delivered a blistering indictment heartfelt, if rambling, rant about the racist reality attached to the New Orleans disaster on national television, in the midst of the GE/NBC concert/telethon. He stood alongside a shocked Mike Myers (who continued to read from his cue card, though Kanye obviously was dropping an impromptu bomb), closing with "George Bush doesn't care about black people." He was shaking, he was so furious. I understand completely.
