One of the key defining criteria on which I based my support of a presidential candidate was to what degree he or she would be able - and willing - to do the hard work of repairing the unbelievable damage done to America by the Bush administration, specifically the wholesale shredding of constitutional principles we've witnessed over the last 7 years.
It's really nice to know I've made the right choice. From Reuters' Tales from the Trail blog:

During a fund-raiser in Denver, Obama — a former constitutional law professor at the Universiy of Chicago Law School — was asked what he hoped to accomplish during his first 100 days in office. Can you imagine an America where the President is not only not an idiotic megalomaniacal ideologue, but is actually a highly intelligent, thoughtful and patriotic constitutional law scholar?
“I would call my attorney general in and review every single executive order issued by George Bush and overturn those laws or executive decisions that I feel violate the constitution,” said Obama
Other goals for his first 100 days: work out a plan to withdraw troops from Iraq; make progress on alternative energy plans and launch legislation to reform the health care system.
