Medicare Bill Passes, Wicker Loses

Hopefully the start of a trend for old Rog.

Vote came in at 68-30, a veto-proof majority, with 18 Republicans and two Independents joining 49 Democrats to shoot down the 10.6 percent pay cut for doctors treating Medicare patients.

Given the utter disappointment with the FISA vote earlier in the day, and Senator Kennedy's return to the senate floor for the vote, this was heartening

Wicker, true to form, voted against the doctors and for the insurance companies. We know where his loyalties lay, and now so does every doctor in the state.
