Sound's not the best on this clip from Wattstax, but it's totally Isaac, even the footage he's not in. Especially, maybe.

Jeez Louise, but this depresses me. I'm really not even sure what to say, other than the obvious; that we've lost a true American treasure; that his influence is so vast and deep that we'll continue to hear Isaac for years to come in the countless hip hop, soul and other musicians who count his work as a primary source; that there's another hole in the world now; that this sucks.
But at least there's all that great music left behind. That's something. But this still sucks.
