Note to readers: Laptop has bought the farm, given up the ghost, gone on to greener pastures. Or trying desparately to do so. More accurately, she's on life-support. Very Mad Max the scene: the duct tape, the detached LCD and the half screen....

In any case, trying to get my hands on a replacement. Suggestions welcome (as are donations, as always). Blogging will of course be limited until I do.

As my entire livelihood revolves around this computer, wish me luck in keeping it operational until the replacement is chosen, paid for, and arrives.
